Exploratory Testing: An Overview

Exploratory application testing is the method of software testing that can be described as test design, test execution and simultaneous learning. This form of testing stresses on the personal freedom and responsibility of each tester who wishes to optimise the quality of his work by using test design, test-related learning, test execution and results to cooperatively support activities that can run in parallel to one another all throughout the assigned project. This form of testing is also known as the black box testing technique and all the users who have studied this technique prefer to use it at any stage in the development process to any test technique.
